Westman Atelier has some beautiful sets for holiday and today I have a look at her Petal Edition Set ($134). This set has 3 full-sized items in the Petal color with her Baby Cheeks Blush Stick, Lit Up Highlight Stick and Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm. You can find this now at Nordstrom, Sephora and Violet Grey.
If you’re into the minimalist glowy makeup look you’ll love this Petal Set. I already own her Baby Cheeks in Petal but I use it so often I did not mind getting another one in this set. Both the lip balm and highlight stick are exclusive to this set right now.
The Baby Cheeks Blush in Petal is a soft rose pink cream. It has a creamy finish with a slight dry down but still remains fresh and dewy looking. On my normal/combination skin this is not the longest lasting but I still find it has decent staying power for a cream blush. These come in her magnetized twist up stick format.
The Lit Up Stick in Petal is a really pretty cool-toned pink. Pigment is extremely sheer with this one and adds a glossy glow to anywhere you apply it. It’s a versatile product you can add to the cheeks, lips, eyes. I’m not really a fan of the glossy balm look on the face but it does add a nice pretty fresh dewy glow. I know a lot of you are huge fans of anything dewy. I think this is a nice addition to her lineup.
The Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm in Petal is really pretty. In general this formula is extremely sheer (except for the darker bold shades) and the balms offer just a slight wash of color. The formula has a nice smooth texture and they feel like a balm on the lips. I layer these on top of a lip pencil most of the time but find they will wear nicely alone too. I really love these but wish they had more pigment. The colors are so good I would have loved to have an option that matches what you see in the tube more.
Overall I think the set is beautiful. It’s easy to wear for any season. I like the fresh pops of pink it has too!
Since it’s been a while since I’ve done a Westman Atelier roundup I’ve added swatches of all the Baby Cheeks, Lit Up Sticks and Squeaky Clean Lip Balms I have. If you’ve been asking for swatches of everything side by side, these are for you!
Mimi is exclusive to Westman Atelier’s site right now. Popsicle is exclusive to the Nordstrom Duo (also reviewed here).
Overall love. She also has a few other sets out now including the Squeaky Clean Cheeky Duo (mini cheek + full size balm) in a couple colors. More are expected to launch soon.
