MAC Quinning Eyeshadow x8 Palette $45.00 for 0.49 Oz. has a more spring-time, pastel-leaning color story, which can often spell trouble for brands as pastel eyeshadows are a challenge to do well… and even more so when the brand isn’t really lauded for its eyeshadow any more. Time sometimes runs together for me, so I was just thinking about how much I used to love MAC’s eyeshadows and how little they interest me now! The reality is that MAC hasn’t been my “go-to” for eyeshadow in nearly a decade. I’m surprised the formula hasn’t returned to form given that length of time, though.
This palette is just a reminder of how the formula has changed over the years; the eyeshadows are now sheerer, drier and thinner throughout the palette. They also tend to fade more easily. To make this palette work, you will need a good eyeshadow primer with some tackiness or wet brushes.
