It had sheer coverage, as promised, and it did not matter if one applied more initially–in order to build up coverage, it had to be layered and one had to wait for each preceding layer to drydown (only took about 10 to 15 seconds). The liquid applied smoothly over bare or base skin as long as you use a small amount. If I used more, the liquid tended to move around the base products. This shade lasted for about seven and half hours, before it started to fade.
